AAP MP Sanjay Singh has shared a video on social media platforms. In this video, Sanjay Singh thanked PM Narendra Modi while satirizing him. He said, ‘I have been out of jail for the last ten days and I am sleeping very peacefully. I stayed in jail for six months, they kept me in isolation for some days. If PM Modi had not given me this opportunity, I would not have been able to meet him. I would not have been able to meet all those great men. I would not have been able to interact with all the revolutionaries I used to hear about. I used to read stories, I met him. Because when a person is in solitude, he gets a chance to think, understand and reflect on a lot.
Sanjay Singh said, ‘I met Nelson Mandela. He had a brilliant revolutionary life. I met Bhagat Singh… read him to know how a 23 year old youth can sacrifice his life. I got to know Ashfaq Ullah, Roshan Singh, Rajendra Lahiri, Ramprasad Bismil, I don’t know how many revolutionaries I read about. Read the documents of Kala Paani and then realized that the social service which had been serving people through politics for thirty years. Maybe my path was right.
He said, ‘When we read Gandhiji, we realized that we were walking on the right path. Perhaps, if it had not been for this six-month journey in jail, I would not have been able to understand whether what I was doing, the path of struggle I was following, was right or wrong. I would like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving me this opportunity. To talk to yourself, to make your path stronger. I have come out of six months of jail journey with more penance. To prepare the way forward and strengthen the way forward.
Sanjay Singh said, ‘Maybe many mediums have been sold today, but history has never been sold. Only what you do is recorded in history. What is true, what is wrong…people will decide. But I don’t know with what intention the Prime Minister sent me to jail. All I would like to say is, thank you very much to Prime Minister Modi, you have made my thirty years of life and struggle stronger.
